At Scubabo, we specialize in creating captivating video and photography content that showcases the stunning beauty of the Great Barrier Reef. Our services include immersive underwater photography and videography internships, where participants can hone their skills both above and below the water. We also excel in onboard photography for charter boats in Cairns, capturing unforgettable moments of passengers exploring the reef. In addition to our internships, we offer a range of professional photographic and videography services to businesses and the public, documenting the vibrant marine life and the incredible experiences of those who venture into this underwater paradise. Whether you’re looking to document your adventure on the reef or create stunning visual content, our expert team is here to bring your vision to life.

Scubabo has since grown organically, offering photographic divemaster and instructor internships, creating ambassadors for our oceans and igniting a love for everything photography and underwater.

Our underwater photography internship program has been running successfully for over 7 years, upskilling young divers and photographers and carving paths for those wanting to start their careers in the marine industry.

The Aquatic World

Our journey began in 2016 with the establishment of Scubabo Cairns, where we set out to share our passion for the marine industry. Building on our success in Cairns, we expanded to Victoria, Australia, in 2018, focusing on diving, snorkeling, and research and development. Our courses and tours take participants to stunning locations in Far North Queensland, including the Great Barrier Reef and the volcanic crater lakes in the Atherton Tablelands. With over 20 years of experience in the marine industry, our instructors are dedicated to revealing the wonders of the aquatic world to our students.

At Scubabo, we pride ourselves on being a holistic-based company, creating a welcoming and safe space for all our employees and students.
